Windows Server and enterprise administration
Active Directory, organisational units, user and service accounts, groups, permissions, DNS, DHCP and related server roles. Group Policy creation and troubleshooting, security policies, logon scripts, drive mapping, user profiles. Experience operating Citrix environments – published applications, user sessions, profiles and access.
Virtualisation
VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix Hypervisor/XenServer, KVM/QNAP QVM. Physical servers, virtualised services, hardware management, storage, backup and post-incident recovery.
Linux
RHEL, Ubuntu Server, Debian – server environments, services and monitoring.
Data centres
Hands-on experience with physical infrastructure – cooling, power, UPS and generators, cabling, server rooms and high-availability prerequisites.
